ESTATE PLANNING COSTINGS
The normal documents which we prepare for
an estate planning exercise are:

The cost of this is usually between $2500 and $3000. If there is a mortgage on the title, then this may also involve a discharge of same and a substitute mortgage being taken. This would cost a further $450 plus any bank consent/discharge fees.
Our costing is very reasonable.
It is necessary to compare apples with apples, as other quotations may
embrace only minimum documents.

NOTES
- The costs on the sale and/or purchase
of a business do not include the cost of special resolutions, preparation
and filing of any other company documents, surrenders of lease, the
Landlord's costs (including consent fee) on the Lease or Assignment
of Lease, stamp duty, licence fees and insurance premiums.
- If a collateral mortgage is required
over residential property, the costs will increase if such mortgage
is a second or subsequent mortgage and/or any alteration in priorities
is required.
- The costs on a sale or purchase may
also increase if the nature of the business requires the obtaining of
licences or transfer of existing licences (e.g. sale of petrol, BYO
or liquor licence etc), the obtaining of special planning consent, and/or
the approval of the local body or any other authority (e.g. Securities
Commission).
- All of the above costs assume a straightforward
transaction without disputes or protracted negotiations. Anything other
than a straightforward transaction will incur further costs.
TIME AND ATTENDANCE MATTERS
Time and attendance matters (principally litigation and opinions) are costed at a minimum of $180.00 per hour plus GST and disbursements.

RELATIONSHIP PROPERTY AND PROPERTY SHARING AGREEMENTS
